What is an aerial photo of a house?
An aerial photo is taken by drone from 10 to a maximum of 120 metres up. For real estate, a single aerial photo shows what regular photos cannot:
- the whole plot and its boundaries
- which way the garden and terrace face (sun)
- the location in relation to the village centre, green space, schools and main roads
- the condition of the roof and outbuildings

Can a drone take aerial photos anywhere?
No. Before every flight we check the airspace and request permission where needed, for example near airports and in parts of Brussels. Our pilot holds the EASA A1/A3 and A2 certificates.
How high does the drone fly for an aerial photo?
Usually between 10 and 50 metres for the house itself, and higher for overview shots. The legal maximum height is 120 metres.
What if the weather is bad?
In rain, strong wind or poor visibility we move the shoot to a new date at no cost.
Can I use the aerial photos everywhere?
Yes, to sell or let the property: on Immoweb, Zimmo, your website, social media and in print.
